sands of time, chasing me
walking through wet sand, swallowing me

whole

dust myself off, must keep moving
even if there's no where left to go

sands of time, running on empty
faith tested, unrelentless

sands of time, chasing me
way of knowing I'm alive, but not free

20 years
solid gold last forever, she was told
throw away wife good by life
all for lust wife's bust
brown turns grey as april moves to may
pretty young thing nothing more
what good is a body without a soul
money and things an empty life
he traded this for a good wife
she cried and screamed asking why
picked herself up-she didnt die
went on with life, got through the strife
greww stronger, learned some things
thats the positive this brings
hubby came back, tail betwwn legs begging for forgiveness
she slowly gave in as God as her witness
and from that day on-they grew closer together
and he always remembered
what a treasure it is to be married to her- hopefully for forever
